2026-2027 Annual Newsletter
(Part 1)

Dear Hunters,

Ready to get the dog off the couch? Bear Creek is the place for you and your dog to go hunting. We have good looking crops and pheasants to hunt. We will be opening for the season on August 29, 2026.

The Members Only Dog Trial in March arrived with the threat of a snow storm. We moved the time up and held the trial in 7 degree, cloudy weather. In the pointer division, Jeremiah Olson and Crickett finished in 1st with Terry S. in second and Lance O. in third. In the flushers, Anna Stephan and Carbon finished 1st with Chad P. in 2nd and Rick A. in third. We managed to get everyone fed, on the road, and arriving at their homes before the snow started. The winners of the 16 birds were Mike K. and Jeremiah O., congratulations to them and to all members who won door prizes, and most importantly, to those who contributed to make the day a success.

Our individual membership is $350.00 plus tax ($375.81). Renewal for individual members is $325.00 ($348.96 with tax) if paid for by September l, 2026. The individual membership includes; use of cleaning area, scratch birds at a reduced rate of roosters for $20 and hens for $10, and a chance to win 16 pheasants. The corporate membership is $900.00 plus sales tax ($968.75). This includes use of the cleaning room and a reduced rate on scratch birds. Catering is available for an additional fee.
